Vision and Mission

CONGREGATIONAL We have no allegiance to any camp, group, ecclesiastical or governing body of any sort and do not elect bishops or superintendents to decide our administration. Heaven is recognized as our sole "headquarters" and we guard our autonomy and liberty with zeal. We fellowship those who share like beliefs in Word and Spirit and work together for any tasks that are beyond the scope of one congregation.

VISION To share the gospel with as many as will hear. To provide a safe learning environment at our school, the Drexel Academy — a place of refuge for children and not a battle ground for violence and confusion. To provide an alternative to the streets, drugs and gangs by way of programs and activities that produce positive character. To encourage individuals to take responsibility for their own lives and actions. To encourage husbands and wives, parents and children to return to biblical principles that transforms dysfunctional to functional families. Without a vision the people perish... God give us all a vision!

MISSION Evangelism is a word hardly spoken in churches today. Witnessing is a discarded burden. However, we were born of "telling others about the Lord." It is part of our spiritual DNA. God’s church fulfills the proclamation of our Lord, spoken of in Isaiah 61.1 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound." That's what we're about. That's our mission!
