I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran ~Jeremiah 23:21
Cursed be the man that trusteth in man ~Jeremiah 17:5

The uncalled prophets who tickle the ear
And mix Truth with lie without shame or fear
Present, in God's name, whom they dare employ
The pure Word of God as a mere alloy.

Mixed with philosophy, vanities, lies
Spoken in piety through fervent cries
Words called the Gospel are sounded today.
In the name of Jesus souls led astray!

Deceived by fool's gold false hope inspires
Till burned up in purifying fires
Countless souls likewise face a tragic end
Being taught they cannot live free from sin.

Woe to false prophets for Truth they obscure.
The Book says, Every word of God is pure ~Proverbs 30:5
And sharper than any twoedged sword ~Hebrews 4:12
Proclaiming, "Holiness unto the Lord!" ~Revelation 15:4

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran ~Jeremiah 23:21
Cursed be the man that trusteth in man ~Jeremiah 17:5
